DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION
Design and construction of the equipment must meet the requirements following:
1. Surface machinery and equipment in contact with raw material or the finished product must be made of corrosion-resistant materials, non-toxic, easy to peel, resistant to the material processed and materials cleaners, and not reactive can change the identity and quality products.
2. Machinery and equipment shall not adversely affect products due to fuel leak problem, droplets of lubricant, oil, or other chemicals that are added due care and improper modifications.
3. Materials used with certain conditions such as lubricants do to come into contact with raw materials or products that are processed because it would change the identity and quality.
4. Installation of the machine must pay attention to the distance between machines and between machine with the wall so as not to inhibit the activity of work, and cross products and employees, as well as the cleaning process. Minimum distance between the engine and the wall is 50 cm and has a height at least 10 cm from the floor

1. The equipment should be placed in the right area with the aim to:
a. Easy maintenance, cleaning, and washing.
b. Placed in the order process so as to facilitate practice good hygiene to prevent cross contamination.
2. The distance between the machine and the equipment should be wide enough to
ease of operation and to ensure that the product is not mixed with each other.
3. All pipes, tanks, jackets for steam or cooling must has a valve and insulated to prevent accidents and to minimize energy loss.
4. The drains or vacuum must be installed and easy access during operation. The channel shall be marked appropriately and description obviously so easily recognizable.
