GLASS POLICY
The policy concerning the glass is as follows:
This policy applies to all employees, suppliers, and Guest incoming PT Straw Mountain area.
Glass containers are not permitted in the production area.
The plate glass or made of glass or ceramic are not allowed in the production area.
This current can be found glass in the main office window and door, the lights in the production and storage area, gatehouse, a bathroom, a garage, but is in a state shielded lights plastic. Glass window outside the production area does not pose any danger. Not found employees who wear glasses and if there is a glass eye and fell to rupture, the following steps should be taken:
If there is broken glass component, then all employees are required:
Isolating the area.
Stop production in the area and report the damage to the production supervisor.
Each of contaminated products must be discarded.
Broken glass should be cleaned using a vacuum.
If there shrapnel production equipment, it needs to be washed and then checked again before use.
Employees who cleans must replace his clothes.
Employees involved in the incident should fill Corrective Action Reports.
If broken glass resulting in injury or accidents then required to notify it to the Production Supervisor.
Broken glass is a physical danger because metal detectors can not detect and extremely difficult to trace the product.
